My name is Jordan McNeilage, owner of Studio + Sea, A sole practice which has been set up to full fill a passion to deliver architectural design and construction expertise to practices across Scotland while delivering high-level outdoor coaching and leadership to centres. This follows almost a decade in private architectural practice and 14 years as an outdoor instructor.

Studio + Sea is a multidisciplinary CIAT Chartered practice combining architectural design with outdoor leadership, rooted in a deep understanding of both the built and natural environments.

The studio provides freelance architectural services, including CAD and BIM drawing, planning applications, building warrants and Construction packages, working closely with practices and private clients across Scotland. Alongside this, Studio + Sea delivers professional outdoor leadership, offering guided experiences, navigation training and expedition support within Scotland’s landscapes.

By bridging design and environment, Studio + Sea promotes a thoughtful and sustainable approach to how people interact with space - from the design of buildings to experiences in the outdoors. The practice aims to support high-quality architectural work while encouraging responsible, engaging use of natural spaces.
